How Long do honcoop natural pet treats last?
Longevity is a key advantage of our treats. While the exact shelf life of our products range by type and size, in general they can be expected to last at least 6 months in a controlled environment. We recommend that the treats be consumed by your pet within this time period - the fresher the better! We recommend that you keep products sealed in their original packaging and store them in a clean, cool, dry location away from moisture, humidity, excessive heat, direct sunlight, pests, and strong odors. Improper storage can shorten product life or cause deterioration.
Do Honcoop Natural pet treats contain any preservatives or fillers?
Never. All of our products are single-ingredient, all natural pet treats. It is so important to us that it is in our name!
Are Honcoop treats a replacement for regular dog food?
No. Our treats and chews are intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding. They should not replace a complete and balanced daily diet.
Should I supervise my dog while it is chewing?
Yes. Dogs should always be supervised while enjoying a treat or chew. Choose an appropriately sized product and remove it if it becomes small enough to swallow, develops sharp edges, splinters, or otherwise appears unsafe.
Why do natural products vary in appearance?
Natural animal products will vary in size, shape, color, texture, aroma, density, and fat content. These differences are normal and do not indicate that the product is defective.
